Team changes
One of our dental assistants, Susie, has left to work at a dental office closer to her home. We wish Susie well at her new job, and we miss her smiling face. To take her place, we have hired a former intern, Mark, who will be with us through the summer. And speaking of interns, there have been a few different dental assistant interns here the past few months. We believe that work experience is an essential part of the student’s education, and we are always happy to help students get their on-the-job training.

Sweet dreams
Things are much quieter in our parking lot now that the Hampton Inn construction is complete. The hotel opened in mid June, just in time to accommodate guests attending the La Sierra University Graduation weekend. We are happy to welcome the Inn to the neighborhood.

Our new office

We are loving our new location and especially enjoy giving patients their first tour. Any time you are in the neighborhood, just stop by to say hello, enjoy some coffee and refreshments, and let us give you a tour. We thank everyone for the compliments given to us – it lets us know that the work involved in moving was worth it. And if you know of anyone needing a team to take care of their dental needs, please tell them about us. Telling others about us is the highest compliment you can send.

Seminars and Training
In May the team attended the California Dental Association meeting in Anaheim. This annual event is a chance for us to take classes to further our education and to see the new dental products on the market. We look forward to this meeting every year. Our team also attended a workshop in June to further improve our communication and customer service skills. As always, we continue to work harder to serve you better.

Going green
For the past few months we have been moving towards becoming a paperless office. We are using forms that are part of our dental software, so they do not need to be filled out on paper. These forms can be completed online through our web site, or in our office. We are still getting used to doing it this way, and working out the kinks with the dental software. We know sometimes it seems that we are using more paper to save paper, but we are hoping to have it running smoothly soon.
