Jenna - Practice Manager

Practice Manager

I moved from South Texas to southern California during the summer of 2020. I was so incredibly blessed and equally thrilled to have the opportunity to join Dr. Middleton’s outstanding team later that same year as a treatment coordinator and practice manager.

I have over 30 years of combined experience in the medical and dental field with extensive training, both as a clinician and within administration/management.

I received my associate’s degree in liberal studies from Palo Alto College in San Antonio, Texas. Shortly after, I completed my bachelor’s degree in science in dental hygiene from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. During my time at University of Texas-HSCSA, I served as the president of the student dental hygiene program and received several awards for excellence in leadership.

I take great pride working with a team who shares a common goal of delivering the highest standard of care with the greatest amount of compassion. I believe education and training are key elements to achieving those goals. With Dr. Middleton’s consistent support in continuing our team’s education and training, we are continuously learning the newest methods and best technologies to deliver the most professional, effective, and efficient dental care to our valued patients.

I have two children, Jennifer and Adrian, and two “grand-pups”, Ula and Harley. When I’m away from work, I enjoy spending time with them and my husband, Shayne. We enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, riding our bikes and doing things outdoors.

Megan - Registered Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist

I have been in Dentistry for almost forty years now! I began as a Registered Dental Assistant, and worked in the front office for many years. In 1997, I was accepted into the Dental Hygiene program at Pasadena City College and graduated in 1999. In 2013 I went to the University of the Pacific and received my RDHAP (Registered Dental Hygienist In alternative Practice) which enables me to attend to people who do not have access to care. Although I don’t use my license that often, it has been a pleasure to help this underserved population. I honestly can’t get enough of Dentistry/ Hygiene. Every day, month or year I learn something new and exciting, and sometimes, I learn what’s old is new again!

I am enjoying life outside of the office. I am new to “Glamping” and loving the new adventures. I still enjoy being a big kid and going to Disneyland as often as I can. My two children are grown and pursuing their passions.

I have been with Dr. Middleton for almost 16 years and it is truly my family and my home. It is my pleasure to see our dental family grow through the years! I look forward to many more!

Rachel - Registered Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist

I completed my dental hygiene education at Riverside Community College (now Moreno Valley College) in 2008. I was the recipient of the director’s award for clinical and academic excellence. You will find I am very passionate and enthusiastic about dental hygiene, and thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and establishing relationships.

I became a dental hygienist for many reasons: as a child I was very fearful of the dentist, healthcare sparked my interest, and I have always found fulfillment in helping others. My job allows me to comfort those who may be afraid in the dental chair, as well as provide education and treatment to help maintain and improve oral health.

When I am not working, I am spending time with my very active family. I have been married to my high school best friend for the last ten years, and we have four children. We enjoy watching and playing sports, going to the movies and spending time with our very large extended family.

Dr. Middleton and his team make coming to work exciting and enjoyable each day. We provide a team approach to patient care, and share a love for learning and growth in our profession. I am thrilled to be a part of the practice.

Shanae - Registered Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist

I started my career in dentistry in 2007 and was in the first dental assisting class that started at Moreno Valley College (formerly RCC, Moreno Valley Campus). Fun Fact: my first internship as a dental assistant was with Dr Middleton! After working as an RDA for a couple years I went back to Moreno Valley College for hygiene school in 2010. While there I was able to get the “Golden scaler” Award, as well as the Friends of Dental Hygiene scholarship that went toward completing my Boards. Becoming a hygienist is something I had wanted to do since I was child. I always enjoyed going to the dentist and the office I went to always made it an enjoyable experience, I wanted to be able to do that for people of all ages.

In my free time I spend time with my husband and my two daughters. The girls’ activities take up the majority of our time whether it be soccer, swim lessons, or church events.

Besides cleaning patients’ teeth, another thing I enjoy about being a hygienist is learning about patients and getting to know them on a personal level. I am also passionate about keeping up with the most current information and being an open book with learning about new things regarding hygiene and everything associated so that I can provide the best care and education for my patients.

I joined Dr. Middleton as a hygienist in Sept 2022 and everyone made it such an easy transition. I look forward to continuing with this wonderful group and growing with the team.

Rosa - Scheduling Coordinator

Scheduling Coordinator

I completed my dental education from Chaffey Community College in 1984 and have enjoyed every aspect of working in the dental field. I’ve always had the desire to help people and working in a dental office has satisfied that passion. I started off as a back office Dental Assistant and eventually transitioned to the front office. The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting new people and making sure they receive quality service and attention that one deserves; for, I delight in seeing our Patients walk out with smiles after their dental treatment, which is a good indicator that we have satisfied their dental needs.

Most of my free time is spent with family and longtime close friends. I enjoy crafting, gardening and staying busy outdoors as much as possible.

Lorena - Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant

I received my Registered Dental Assisting License in 1997 and graduated from Cypress College in 1999. I began my dental journey in Buena Park, California where I worked for over 10 years. When I moved to the Riverside area I was fortunate to join Dr. Middleton’s team and thoroughly enjoyed my time with them, but after my son was born I decided staying home was a better fit for our family. Shortly after, we welcomed our daughter.

During my 7 year break, from dentistry, I remained active in the dental field by attending the yearly California Dental Association’s Scientific Sessions where I kept my license and skills up to date. It was important to me to keep my licensing status up to par, as I knew one day I would be back in the dental field. Now here I am, back at the office I had such a hard time leaving.

I have 2 children and have been married since 2004. Our kiddos keep us busy, busy, busy with their sports and activities; they are our greatest joy. I enjoy reading, movie nights and river trips in the summer. I love creating memories to last a lifetime.

So whether I’m saying “hello again” or “nice to meet you” I look forward to seeing you soon.
